W&M Environmental is a premier closure and remediation consultant in Texas with well over 90 sites in the Texas Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) and Innocent Owner Program (IOP) alone (see State's VCP database). W&M utilizes remediation services at sites whenever risk-based strategies alone are not sufficient to address contamination and close sites. W&M has performed a wide range of regulatory and remediation services for contaminated properties including dry cleaners, service stations, industrial facilities, and oil & gas sites.

Our project work has included a complete range of potential contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOC), RCRA metals, total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), semi-VOCs (SVOCs), herbicides, pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), and dioxins. Most of our work consists of soil remediation, abatement of NAPLs (non-aqueous phase liquid), removal of USTs, and groundwater treatment.

W&M has extensive experience working with state and federal regulators and ultimately closing contaminated sites. We utilize innovative sampling strategies and risk-based corrective action strategies as much as possible to limit costly physical remediation. W&M has completed high profile remediation projects which include removal of thousands of cubic yards of metals-impacted soil. In Texas, W&M has closed sites in the VCP, IOP, Corrective Action, and Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (LPST) programs.

W&M has been successful in closing even highly contaminated chlorinated solvent sites and has staff experienced with Superfund sites. We have designed and operated Mobile Dual Phase Extraction (MDPE) to remove Chloroform and Petroleum from the soil and groundwater.
