W&M Environmental, a Division of Braun Intertec Corporation (W&M) is an environmental and industrial safety consulting firm that has provided expert services to a broad range of clients since 1995. We specialize in environmental site investigations, soil & groundwater assessment, contaminated site remediation & closure, real estate due diligence, Industrial Health, Safety and Compliance (EH&S), and natural resources services. We utilize experienced scientists and engineers to manage projects with a focus on quality, budget, and schedule.
W&M’s experts in site assessment, remediation and closure are leaders in Texas Risk Reduction Program, Voluntary Cleanup Program and Municipal Setting Designation projects state-wide. We have successfully facilitated the completion of complex real estate deals with a full array of services that include EPA All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) Compliant Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, wetland delineation, asbestos surveys, underground storage tank (UST) removal, cleanup and closure of leaking tanks, soil and groundwater remediation, and regulatory closure. We emphasize expedient closure of contaminated properties using risk-based strategies that minimize physical remediation. W&M has an excellent track record of closing sites through state and federal regulatory agencies such as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Texas Railroad Commission as detailed in our Closure Corner section.
Our industrial EH&S professionals can assist you with proactive solutions for cost saving Pollution Prevention (P2) strategies, air permits, Environmental Management Systems (EMS), storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP or SWP3), spill control (SPCC) plans, toxic release inventory (TRI) reporting, tank management, on-going environmental training, and hazardous waste permitting. For Oilfield clients, W&M provides due diligence assessments, wetland delineation, permits for local city ordinances, environmental protection plans, noise monitoring for urban well sites, NORM surveys and quick responses to regulatory permitting needs.
“We get projects done”. All too often, the complexity of environmental projects present obstacles that lead to long delays. Clients tell us we are different from other consultants because our culture is one of taking ownership, showing initiative, and doing what it takes to get projects done on time, on budget, and done right.
We try to boil culture down to DO, GET, TAKE, GO, and BE:
-do the right thing, get it done, take ownership, go the extra mile, and be a self-starter-
We strive to foster a climate of collaboration while expecting all members of the team to do the right thing, act with integrity, and make good choices.
We hold each other responsible to get projects done on time, even if it means occasionally working a little extra. However, these extra hours pay off through monthly financial bonuses and a company-wide “Tip of the Hat!” We admire those employees who take steps to stand out and go above and beyond in order to get projects done. These individuals are rewarded with incentives such as tuition reimbursement and conference stipends. We notice and appreciate what our employees do! But don’t think we’re all work and no play…
Each month, every W&M office hosts several events, catering to their specific office vibe. Employees can participate in various health and wellness activities, planned social events, and in-house lunch-and-learn webinars at any of the W&M locations. Just put on your yoga pants, and strike a pose! Or maybe you’re more into bowling or putt-putt…
At W&M we work together, expect accountability, acknowledge success, admire initiative, and invest in the future of our employees—all while having fun, too. If you want to be a part of this culture, check out our Careers Page.
