January Employee Spotlight: Britney Kasper

Meet our featured January Employee Spotlight and 2018 Employee of the Year, Britney Kasper! Britney Kasper grew up in the Houston, Texas area and graduated from Texas A&M University College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Bioenvironmental Sciences. Working at the W&M San Antonio Office for just a little over one year, Britney works as a Staff Professional II in a wide range of remediation and compliance field work. She does field evaluations, data analysis, collects groundwater and soil samples, conducts visible emissions inspections, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure inspections, and remediation oversight. She has also assisted in wetland delineations, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Early on, Britney exhibited her dedication and drive. December Employee Spotlight

  Natalie spent the early part of her childhood in Venezuela before moving to Katy, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience with an emphasis on Human Impact on the Environment. Before pursuing a career in environmental science, Natalie studied film but quickly realized her passions lie in science, the environment, and making a positive impact in the world. During her time at A&M, Natalie participated in three very different internship opportunities: one at the EPA Headquarters in Washington; D.C., one at the Office of Sustainability at Texas A&M University; and one at Cheniere Energy, Inc. After graduating, Natalie joined W&M’s Houston operations, and in less than a year, has had an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects. November Employee Spotlight

  Sophie Worrell is a native of Austin and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. In her free time, Sophie enjoys taking her dog to the lake as well as going to the movies. She prioritizes spending quality time with her friends and family and throughout her life has displayed her outstanding athletic abilities through playing soccer, as well as running track and cross country. While studying at UT, Sophie conducted a great number of geological studies across five U.S. states and worked as a Geomorphology Research Assistant – studying land processes taking place in Northern Africa. Soon after graduating, Sophie came on to W&M Environmental as a Staff Professional I.
