Stormwater Compliance

Industrial and construction sites generate stormwater runoff that can carry debris, chemicals, and other pollutants into streams, rivers, lakes or wetlands when precipitation hits. These discharges are subject to regulation and permitting.  While the subject matter is the same — stormwater discharges — the intent and actions required for the two different types of permits are drastically different.  If not managed properly, stormwater discharges can lead to regulatory fines, cause environmental impacts such as flooding, wildlife endangerment, and streambank or other soil erosion. Join us on November 21st for a live lunchtime webinar hosted by Nick Foreman and Amanda Bergstrom as we will discuss how to:

  • implement a site-specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) for industrial and construction sites,
  • enact effective control measures to minimize environmental impact,
  • meet permit requirements and ensure regulatory compliance,
  • complete the annual stormwater benchmark and hazardous metals discharge monitoring report, and
  • avoid regulatory fines and fees.
