W&M is proud to introduce Don DuRivage as our new Ft. Worth office Division Manager for Compliance and EHS Services. Don has worked in the environmental and safety arenas for over 28 years. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, while being part of the USC football team that reached the 1980 Rose Bowl. He currently holds certifications as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Certified Professional Environmental/Safety Auditor (CPEA).
After college, Don began his EHS compliance career in southern California working at chemical plants and refineries helping negotiate the regulatory environment that would soon work its way across the country. Over the course of several years, Don moved from southern California to Texas and then to South Carolina and continued working with specialty chemical manufacturers both as a direct employee and consultant. He has successfully helped manufacturers, hospitals, terminals, and service industries strategically comply with Title V, NSPS, MACT, PSM, RMP, and the full suite of OSHA’s requirements.
Don’s most recent work history includes a return to refining in Texas, where he helped negotiate and implement EPA Consent Decree objectives for a large industrial company. His return to consulting with W&M allows Don to provide our clients with invaluable experience addressing compliance issues related to federal regulations as well as state-specific issues in Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, and California, to name a few.
Don is an expert in the field of environmental auditing and compliance. After being with W&M for only a few short weeks, Don leant his expertise on a webinar on PSM/RMP. He has firsthand knowledge of the subject throughout his career and is a practiced facilitator of Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Managing Partner of W&M, Gene Murray, said that “We are really excited to add Don to the team! His expertise in EHS compliance will be a great addition to our already growing business.”
Don is looking forward to jumping in and getting his hands dirty, saying, “The opportunity provided me by W&M rarely come around and I’m truly excited to be part of the W&M team.”. Please take a minute to welcome Don DuRivage to W&M!
